OPEN DAY 15:00-18:00 17 June 2010 Shangri-La Hotel

We are holding an open-day for new instructors in our training centre on the 4th floor of the Shangri-La.

We are recruiting part-time instructors for weekday evening classes starting at various locations around Bangkok in early July. There may also be opportunities for weekday teaching in Bangkok and for participation in residential training events at resorts outside the city.

Pay rates range from 600 to 800 baht per hour.

We are looking for native speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to participate in the following programmes:

1. Intensive English conversation coaching using BitS(Thailand) Speak! method
No experience is required.
2. Business English Communication Skills and Business Writing Skills
Please note the following criteria for these positions:
Applicants should have CELTA or MA(TESOL) with 2 years' experience of teaching English as a second language to working adults in Thailand.
Applicants should also have some work experience outside the field of education and training.

Directions for the Open Day:

Our training centre is located in the Shangri-La Hotel, close to Saphan Taksin BTS station.

The Open Day will be on the 4th floor of the Chao Phraya Tower, which is in the small road immediately behind the hotel, opposite a Chinese temple.
If you are coming by BTS, take the right hand riverside exit (leaving the station in the same direction as the train arrives) and walk back a few metres. Turn left before the Chinese temple. The Chao Phraya Tower is the large office building on the left, with a small tourist shopping arcade on the Ground Floor. Take the lift to the 4th floor. Parking is available in the hotel.
